    Spacecom Appoints Dan Zajicek New CEO

    Tel Aviv – 19 March 2020: Spacecom (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: SCC), operator of the AMOS satellite fleet, announces that Mr. Dan Zajicek has been appointed by the board of director’s as the company’s new Chief Executive Officer. His appointment officially begins on 1 April 2020.

    Mr. Itzik Shnaiberg, who has served as Acting CEO since 1 January 2020, will return to his Deputy CEO position at that time. The board of directors wishes to thank Shnaiberg for filling the CEO position during this transition period.

    Zajicek comes to Spacecom from Satcom Systems, owner of Gilat Satcom, where he served as CEO from 2012, after fulfilling senior management positions in the international satellite services industry. At Bezeq International he served as VP responsible for Regulatory Affairs, International Business Development and HR as well as VP of its Business Development unit and CFO. Holding an BA with Honors in Economics and Business Administration and an MBA from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Zajicek also served as Senior Deputy Director General of Israel’s Communications Ministry and in the National Budget Unit of Israel’s Finance Ministry.
