IP Networking Engineer
Job Summary
We are looking for Networks Engineer that would be responsible for handling the company IP networks.
You will be in charge of designing, procuring and handling the different networks used by the company both for internal needs and for various customer services.
In addition, part of your role would be to test and integrate new products and solutions that are part of the Satellite connectivity offering.
Primary Responsibilities
- Define, design, procure, establish, operate and monitor Spacecom networks.
- Working with the IT and CISO to make sure the networks are safely designed and integrated.
- Close work with product managers on testing and incorporating new technologies and solutions for the company portfolio.
- Continual improvement of existing networks through monitoring, analysis, and keeping up to date with current trends and technologies.
Who You Are?
- CCNP level networking professional.
- Familiar with network equipment such as Cisco and Juniper.
- Experienced with networking protocols BGP, RIP, OSPF, SNMP, IGMP.
- Highly organized with great attention to details.
- Experience with network monitoring tools (PRTG, CACTI, Grafana).
- Basic Linux: installation of software, CLI.
- Proactive approach willingness to learn and to develop.
- Good communication and learning skills.
- Fluent English, verbal, and writing.
Advantages
- Technical background in satellite communications, spectrum and RF.
- Past work experience in ISP.
- Configuration of Firewalls (Fortinet, Cisco, Checkpoint).
- Familiar with operating VMware: creation of VMs and network settings.
- Working with RIPE.
- Familiarity with SQL.
