Launched in 2003 to Spacecom’s 4°W orbital “hot spot,” the AMOS-2 satellite operates in Ku-band and offers customers:
The satellite’s advanced features include the AMOS Atlantic Bridge, which gives customers single-hop, two-way connectivity between the East Coast of the U.S. and the Middle East or Europe.
Plus, the AMOS-2 satellite is co-located with the AMOS-3 satellite for complete in-orbit redundancy to ensure backup capabilities and total service reliability.
