National Geographic Launches New Channel on AMOS

National Geographic Wild – Romania Joins AMOS Neighborhood

Tel Aviv – 18 June 2009: Spacecom (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: SCC), the operator of the AMOS satellite fleet, today announced that National Geographic has chosen to launch its newest channel, National Geographic Wild, in Romania over the AMOS-3 satellite, the newest addition to the Spacecom fleet, launched in April 2008.

 Broadcast is uplinked via the INTV Teleport in Prague.  Spacecom is providing both satellite capacity and encryption services using its Viaccess conditional access system. National Geographic Wild programming provides unique insight into the natural world, our environment and the amazing creatures that inhabit it.
