Spacecom Extends Reach Throughout Romania in 2007

IBC 2007, Amsterdam, Netherlands, Hall 1 Booth 438 - 9 September 2007: Spacecom (Tel Aviv Stock Exchange: SCC), the AMOS satellites operator, today announced that it secured more new customers in the Romanian market during the second half of 2007, enriching its position in this market. The newest Romanian channels utilizing AMOS satellites’ hot-spot located at 4°W longitude are Neptun TV and Oltenia TV.
 
With these networks adding to AMOS’ neighborhood footprint in Romania, the company enters a new stage of growth.  In addition to the country's BOOM TV DTH platform, other operators include: Realitatea TV, Telesport, Money Channel, B1TV, MTV Romania, Good Life Channel, Flux TV, AlphaTV, Alpha TV Ploiesti, SensoTV and TVRM.

Neptun TV General Manager, Cristian Zgabercea, said, “We selected AMOS because it is a very attractive environment for our channel and its strength meets our needs for reaching Constata, Romania’s largest port city and assists us become a regional station serving South and South-East Romania.”
