Spacecom Delivers FInancial Services by Echo Hungaria TV to Television Viewers via the AMOS Satellites

AMOS Satellites at 4 Degrees West will carry financial information to Hungarian viewers

IBC 2005, AMSTERDAM – September 9th 2005, Spacecom Ltd. announced today the addition of Echo TV HUNGARIA to the AMOS satellites channel neighborhood. Echo TV will deliver economic and financial content services to television subscribers, targeting at viewers in Hungary and future expansion to other territories, using the AMOS satellite system. Under a long-term contract, the service will be launched on AMOS-1 at 4 degrees west longitude, delivering financial content via Antenna Hungaria, providing up-link service to Echo TV.

The launch of the AMOS-2 satellite enhanced the AMOS platform, consisting of two co-located satellites, which enables Spacecom to provide full backed-up services and built-in redundancy.
