Spacecom announced this morning, 24 April 2008, a postponement in the launch of the AMOS-3 satellite. According to reports received from the launch site in Baikonur, the supporting arm of the launcher did not reach nominal separation distance from the launcher, and it was decided to delay the launch until the required inspections are carried out.
Spacecom emphasizes that both the AMOS-3 satellite and its launcher are in working order and are ready for launch.
