Spacecom, the operator of the AMOS satellite fleet, newest satellite, AMOS-3, has completed testing and has been delivered to the Baikonur Cosmodrome launch site in Kazakhstan.

“The entire Spacecom team is very pleased that AMOS-3 has arrived in Kazakhstan, the final step prior to the launch,” said Spacecom president and CEO, David Pollack. “With the addition of AMOS-3, Spacecom continues to pursue and realize our strategy of extending AMOS constellation’s reach and coverage to meet our customers’ needs.”

According to the launch plan AMOS-3 is scheduled to launch from the Baikonur Cosmodrome at the end of April 2008.
