Organizations everywhere are looking to establish a presence in fast-growing emerging markets like the Middle East. But terrestrial networks have not kept pace with demand for connectivity in developing countries within the Middle East and Africa — nor have they kept pace with the need for cross-region connectivity between continents.
As a provider of satellite services headquartered in the Middle East and recognized for its long history of superior performance, Spacecom is well positioned to help government and commercial organizations meet their connectivity needs in the region thanks to our direct, single-hop two-way connectivity between the East Coast of North America to the Middle East, and with the 2011 launch of the AMOS-5 satellite, between Africa and Europe.
The AMOS platform provides an outstanding solution for two-way connectivity within the Middle-East, featuring very high power Ku-band beams and the highest elevation angle in the region.
In fact, via our Atlantic Bridge, the AMOS satellite constellation can provide a direct Ku-band connection between any U.S.-based headquarters and its deployed communication terminals in the Middle East. In the U.S., our teleport and service provider partners operate several large antennas pointed at the AMOS satellite constellation, allowing us to deliver maximum availability and performance.
